OVERVIEW: Earth Eco International, an organization committed to protecting 30% of our oceans by 2030 wanted to create a youth-led initiative to help accomplish this goal.

Tasked with helping them brand this initiative we created Gen Sea, a generation defined by their commitment to preservation. As part of the branding we created a visual identity (that’s right me the copywriter actually helped the extremely talented art director, Hache Hernandez with this vis ID) which included a “living logo” that evolved and adapted based on each ocean’s active challenges. 

For the logo we wanted to have every ocean represented. So we created a line that symbolized the size of each ocean. We also added colors to symbolize different types of ocean disasters, updating the logo to reflect current challenges that each ocean is facing.
